This piece turned out better than expected – I truly suck at sketching animals; an attempt to draw a horse might just end up looking like an oversized dog. Anyways, thought I’d give myself a little challenge on the 1st day of Ramadhan and sketch a tiger. The outcome? I’d say – good try. Sketched on October 05, 2005.

Self-Portrait 2

Another self-portrait; based on a photograph of an American soldier from the Vietnam War. He was sitting down in similar manner, with a sad and empty look on his face. Sketched on August 12, 2005.

Self-Portrait 1

The original piece that eventually became the actual representation of the AcesHigh character. After my failure to pursue my dreams of studying architecture, I gave up on everything drawing-related. This was my very 1st proper sketch after abandoning it for 9-years. Sketched in 2001. Just a simple cartoonish self-portrait inspired by a cartoon strip from one of the local comics.
