Masked Rider

Last week, in an attempt to keep my nephew occupied, I drew a Masked Rider portrait based on a figurine and then got him to color the picture.

This was sketched from memory a few days after.

If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman...

My better half once reminded me that I am not Superman, and that I cannot help everyone even if I try. There are days when I feel so alone and so burdened – and I hate myself for wanting to try to lend a hand to others and commit to more than I know I should. I nag, but I still do it. I frown, but I still extend my hands to them.

Because that is who I am. And I guess I’m ok with that :)

I am officially a PakCik...

Just something I sketched based on my lunch incident with one very cheeky boy… dah la panggil kita PakCik… panggil kuat2 pulak tu. “Ya…. PAKCIKKKKKK… nak makan apa?” Hai… malu pakcik… semua org dengar. Hehehehe…

Coffee Craving...

It was 8am; I was late for work and out of coffee. So I dropped by 7-11 for a quick purchase. All I wanted was a small bottle of Nescafe Gold, but no – all they could conveniently place on the shelf were the largest sized bottles. I stared at the price tag – wooooow…. Hell, no. I’m not spending that much on a bottle of coffee, man. And then, I caught a glimpse of the small-petite bottle squeezed in between. IndoCafe… priced at RM4.50. Ah… that’s more like it.

9am – in the office… I sat patiently stirring my tall freshly boiled cup of coffee and enjoying the rich aroma. Emmm… this was worth the wait; my 1st cup of excellent coffee today. I smiled, took one long sip… and… OMG… the coffee sucked big time. I took another big gulp, hoping that it would taste better the 2nd time around. U guessed it – it didn’t. It still sucked big time.

I sat there traumatized – stuck with one full bottle of coffee (which I will never drink again) and a tall mug of steaming hot coffee that will end up being poured down the drain.

No coffee = Bad mood. *Sigh*… This is gonna be another long day...
